The medical water

The medicinal water of Zalakaros, which comes from a depth of 200 meters, is of 96 C°, one of the most important water storage because of its amount and mixture. According to its content, it is medicinal water of alkaline-chloride and hydrogen carbonate; its iodide and bromide ion and sulphide ion content together with radioactive elements presents a very rare appearance in Europe. The other main components of the water are: potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, nitrate, nitrite, metaboric acid, silicic acid and free carbonic acid. The medicinal water of Zalakaros is able to cure locomotor disorders, acute and degenerative arthritis, nervous system disorders, cardiac and vascular lesion, chronic gynaecological and dental problems. This water is excellent at rehabilitation and post-treatment of patients underwent orthopaedic and traumatic surgery.
